Warships, Sailboats and the open sea
I joined the Royal Canadian Navy in May of 2002. Didn't have a legacy of family in the Navy, nor did I know what I was really getting into. But it was an amazing experience. I sailed a bit on the East and West Coasts of Canada on HMCS Kingston, ORCA class vessels and the venerable YAGs.
One of these days I'll write down all of the reasons why it's been an incredible experience.
I'm also the new proud owner of a sailboat -- MoonShadow. (I didn't name it after that Cat Stevens song, the previous owner did) I hope to share a bunch of pictures of the adventures once I get her back in the water in May.
